Probably a good thing Melita was invisible right now, so no one could see how damned smug she was. Would it come to bite her in the ass eventually? Probably – but she’d already died once and lived again, so this was just another topping on the ol’ cake, so to speak.
Relishing violence and fully invested in her greedy exploits, proved once again, that she’d be willing to do a hostile amount of things to suit her, or Flora’s in this case as well, needs. Notching another electrical arrow, she listened to the snap, crackle, pop of it all radiating along her bow, pulled the string, and let fly again towards Maea, hoping to sideline the tiger entirely.
Maybe then she or the Doubletake would have an opportunity to snag.
