RANDOM EVENT
As soon as Lena clears the fire and shifts back into herself, it all should have been over. With her magic singing into the voice of the creature it willingly gives over the orb and as soon as it touches the caretaker's fingers, it explodes in a warm rush of energy that immediately sinks within, filling and expanding.
It should have ended there, but it doesn't.
Another of Melita 's arrows lets loose, finding its target in Maea. As Thalassa runs forward Maea 's bloodbane is already at work, sucking the life from her body and nearly taking the pirate captain with her. It'll force the pirate's flames to die down so that Zavien andElizabeth have a clear view of what has just transpired, even though most of it happened quite suddenly.
Lena, the winner.
Thalassa, likely doubled over with her life ebbing out onto the sand, torn away by unseen fingertips.
Maea, lifeless.
Flora and Melita, invisible.
Zavien, the mirth of his game of fetch likely at an end.
Elizabeth, pen in hand, though quite what she's going to record of this is anyone's guess.
Lena has been given a leopard cat shift for winning the drop!
