EVEREST
Ever wasn't sure, and probably had now that she mentioned it, but that didn't stop him from grinning smugly down at her before glancing innocently up toward the ceiling as he defiantly frowned and shook his head. But before he could emphasize his brazen and reckless personality anymore, she was whispering there little words he certainly hadn't been expecting to hear from the Remedy today, much less at all.
Wh— Silently his lips form the question as his eyes immediately fall back toward hers. Surely he'd heard that wrong? She'd been saying it about something else? Blinking at her, his blue eyes can't seem to find any particular feature of hers to land upon, and so instead dart from the cupid's bow of her mouth to the flush on her cheeks, the whisper of freckles across the bridge of her nose and finally to the bright pebble blue of her eyes.
Hitching in a breath the aviator's shoulders round forward as his hands pull her against him (not that there was any space between them anymore). "I'd have gone anywhere to hear you say that." He mumbles, his voice shaky with joy and boyish nervousness. "And even if you hadn't—" Pressing his lips against hers in a gesture far too quick and chaste for how he was truly feeling, Ever laughs against her mouth. "—I'd never have loved you any less."
