Maybe it was the purpose of his trek out to the woods, or maybe it was the knowledge that so much Void was spreading, or maybe it was nerves around his impending conversation. After all, he didn't want to disappoint the Mer King.
Per his letter the previous day, he awaited Hadama in a clearing within view of the Labyrinth. Luckily, the eerie fog stayed near the twisting pathways, leaving his own vision clear to watch for approaching creatures or people. Yet the foliage needed no help obscuring how far his eyes could see. He pulled his cloak tighter over his travel clothes before resting a hand comfortably on his sword.
