But they had, and rather than say much of it, the butcher simply sits close enough to Danta that the heat of his body radiates and his arm easily slips around the Maverick’s middle to offer more warmth and comfort rather than the wooden rail of the cart to lean against. “I can either surprise you with it or you can come with me to pick it up?” Leaving the options open, his horned head tilts slightly when he tears his gaze away from the passing trees to look down at the blonde.
