What a time to have a child, Alys thought to herself as she made faces and smiled at the infant. A blessing, of course - and of course the world didn't stop turning just because of the Void - but she wondered if Deimos and Evie were alright, having such a young baby in such an uncertain time. She could only imagine that there would be a certain level of fear in one's life, more so that if it were only themselves to think about. She'd never really considered parenthood for herself, but she could only imagine that the worry she felt for Tal when he was away on deliveries would only be amplified for a child she'd brought into the world.
In any case, she nodded in acknowledgement as Deimos listed off a number of things that they'd tested. "Interesting," she murmured, making a mental note of the things that might be more or less effective, should they have need of the knowledge on their travels. Not for the first time, she wished for more advanced magical abilities - her illusions and telekinesis would be of little help in any sort of altercation, it seemed, although at least they couldn't hurt. At least she could heal now. Perhaps she could be useful in that way.
In response to Deimos's inquiry, she roused herself from her musings and nodded. "Tal told me," she said. "I wish there was something we could do to stop the spread."
