Aurelia listened intently to Flora and Melita's explanations, her brow furrowed in concentration as she absorbed the details of notes. The talk of Frey's lilies and the possibility of divine intervention piqued her curiosity, stirring a mix of hope and skepticism.
"How many people have been searching for these lilies?" she inquired, her voice steady and pragmatic, "And if that's not working, then... what are you thinking next?" Her gaze shifted to Flora, the queen.
A wry smile tugged at her lips as Jack was mentioned. "I can work with Jack," she retorted, her tone nonchalant, "If he gets his panties in a bunch about me being there, then I'm not sure what he wants me to do at this point. Other than fuck off... which I will not," she shrugged, the gin loosening her inhibitions and allowing a hint of defiance to seep into her voice, "I told him I'd make it up to him, that I'd help him out however I could, but he rejected my offer. What else can I do?"
