With the majority of the snakes toasted or shot, those few survivors make the collective decision to get the fuck out of dodge. Koa manages to hurl his chakram at one last retreating serpent before they all disappear, leaving the wall of vines empty and silent once more.
Shoving his hand into his hair, Koa shakes his head. "Ok. Well. That was something." Turning to look at Melita, he offers a lopsided smile. "How about we break for a drink? I could use a drink." And maybe a change of shoes, he thinks, rubbing his heel on the ground to scrape snake off his boot.
