She is fierce and fiery in all the ways that don’t scream any traditional ways he’s used to. It’s invigorating, and suddenly intoxicating as his sharp teeth nick at her perfectly beautiful skin. And whereas it would give him more room to try and push up against her to flip them, he finds his strength dwindles in comparison to hers – in the way she keeps him pinned and points her claws against the edges of vital spaces that the butcher knows intimately would be too much of a detriment to return from.

So it’s with a bloodsoaked grin that he flashes at Hotaru, his strength melting as she glows above him – admiration flickers into his dark gaze, made into a lighter honey tone reflected from her magic. “I concede, darling.” He forfeits, wisely, thankful for the recent bloodlust hunt to not have him gore himself in an attempt to try and lap up the ruby streaking down her neck.

As it stands, his concession is made and he waits for her to stand before apologies are offered, a sleeve to clean herself up should she wish to, and any other little polite statements before he snags a gemstone on the way out, pocketing it into his fine waistcoat speckled with a few drops of blood.
