Before she can say anything about Noah becoming a snake or Sah finally following her instructions (even though he'd missed, they all had, so she'd be a hypocrite for mentioning it), the panther is right beside her, too close and too fast for her to do anything about. Pain seizes her, pulsing inside of her body as violet light smothers her, making it impossible to breathe, to think, to act. Collapsing onto the sand, the queen struggles to pull air into her lungs such is the extent of the pain and damage the creature how somehow inflicted upon her so quickly.
"—dad—" Flora croaks, tears streaming down her cheeks as her mind flashes and shrieks with agony. The purple haze has her thoughts clouding over, tugging her toward oblivion and the sweet embrace of death, where thoughts of having to continually fight for Torchline will be moot. Where she'll be able to see her twin again and can finally give up her disastrous pursuit of trying and failing to find love.
