There's a suspicious amount of pain trickling in, specifically each time Jack goes to attack. Narrowing his eyes ever so slightly toward the captain—was he trying to harm one of his allies?—Remi presses his teeth together and focuses his attention on Flora. "You're going to be just fine." He whispers, straightening as her daggers come flying back through the air, but at least those haven't caused him any pain.

Glancing back toward Jack, the Bastion nods. "I could." He says, of being able to keep the creature in one place. "But it would mean I couldn't shield you all at the same time. I could also attack it and heal you after..." Having not been present for the majority of the battle, Remi didn't know how hard the creature could hit. Could the group withstand one of its attacks, while Remi was trying to take it down? He didn't know.
