Well, Sah feels stupid for a second as he recognizes that Ronin's attack doesn't affect void monsters. Victory is still some distance away, but seeing the Bastion remain is a relief. With how this fight is dragging, he's beginning to genuinely fear that the creature will reach the city. It's not dire yet if he's judging the distance correctly, but it's still worrisome.
His own attack lands amongst a flurry of misses, sending a surge of vicious satisfaction through him. It doesn't last long as the panther quickly has him in its grasp. There's no pain, but there is a wave of misery. He's cold. It almost feels like his hope and drive have been torn out, leaving an aching emptiness.
Taking a shaky breath, Sah tries to shove it down. Focused as he is on keeping himself steady, he doesn't hear Remi or even process how he's physically unharmed. All that exists is his magic and the threat before him. The Wild Thunder sends another air-fueled attack at the panther.
