I’m standin' on a tightrope alone
I hold my breath a little bit longer

She could have purred the way he smiled at her. To have someone of such caliber look at her with such approval just made her heart flutter and her soul sing. Though she couldn't stay long as the impressive feline, she wanted to. She wanted to bask in his gaze and his approval for as long as he would offer it to her. The way that people drifted around them and gave them a wider birth, however, made her shift back. 

That's when she noticed the positioning of the sun, and suddenly heard the loud chiming of a clock deep within the city. Gasping, Ellyra jumped as if startled. "I'm so sorry to rush, but it was nice to meet you! I've got to get these packages back to the clinic." Ellyra said with a sheepish smile, gathering up each parcel and then taking off back towards the city proper, but not without turning and giving Deimos one last smile and a wave.

She couldn't believe she had met Deimos and Ronin in one week.
