your touch brought forth an incandescent glow, tarnished but so grand
"I mean, I could have let you know if you'd told me when you'd be coming back." Flora says casually as she combs out a section of hair with her fingers, feathers it, and begins cutting. "Could have even scheduled the panther attack for a day that would have better suited your schedule and everything." Last she'd heard, Jack was planning on heading up toward the desert to kill some sort of crab she'd never heard of. It was only happenstance that she'd met him on the beach the day (or two?) before.
Though it had been a while since she'd cut anyone's hair, she'd practiced enough on Enzo to have it all coming back fairly quickly, and despite her threats to the contrary, she finished with Jack in a reasonable amount of time (by her standards, at least). Moving to stand before him, Flora surveys her work for a moment, her eyes narrowed slightly as she considers. Plunging her hands into the captain's hair and ruffling it, she combs it back away from his eyes before straightening, her arms crossed. "What do you think? Does it need to be shorter?" Had he hacked it off it probably would have been shorter, but just because it was the start of Longheat didn't mean he needed one singular haircut to last him the entire season.
"And before you answer, remember that it's entirely possible that when you go see Safrin everything about you remains exactly the same, so.."
Could he live with everything exactly the way it was, forever?
Meaning his physical appearance, of course.
