your touch brought forth an incandescent glow, tarnished but so grand
"I'm full of 'em." Flora says of her good idea, before rolling her eyes. What was a bit of thievery or 1000MP between friends, anyway?
"Mmmm." The queen hums, and while the ring on her finger has her absolutely believing that Jack hadn't asked for it, that only made it seem more likely that it was a gift from Safrin. "So it's, what, 40ft I have to be able to shout at you from if I want to keep my thoughts to myself?' She's kidding of course—there wasn't anything worse than I love you in her thoughts—and given she was fairly certain Jack's magic had already found that particular pandora's box, nothing else really seemed worth concealing in contrast. 'Sounds like we're going to have to find you some stronger headache remedies.' She hums more to herself than to him as she fluffs out the bottom of his hair, taking a moment to ensure it was even before stepping back.
"...yup." As she'd pointed out on the beach, despite her jealousy, she was still willing to help Jack with his nonsense, much as she disagreed with it; hated it, in some cases. "I'll wait outside the room though, if it's all the same." Being there to pick up whatever shell of Jack was left over after he saw Safrin was one thing, but having to pick up the pieces of herself after hearing and seeing the things Safrin was liable to coax out of him was another entirely.
