Zavien
As he walked along the dark pathway, he honestly wasn't paying much attention to where he was walking. His eyes were focused on his feet, ensuring that they didn't catch on any stray roots or random steps in the floor. Zavien hadn't quite thought about the fact that there could be a wall before him. Luckily, the shifting in light clued him in to glance up just in time, his nose stopping a hair's breadth from smacking into the solid obstacle. The sigh of relief he released blew back into his face before he scanned upwards. Koa may call it 'easy', but, as evidenced by recent events, Zavien was not the best climber.
However, he wouldn't let the first sign of difficulties keep him from their task.
Giving Koa an exasperated look, he started the climb. It was slow and tedious, full of second guessing and careful consideration of each decision. One moment looked a little dicey when a particularly suspicious rock proved too weak to support his weight, although and desperate grab of nearby vines helped keep him from tumbling back down. It all paid off when he reached the top, only slightly short of breath with a sprinkle of sweat on his brow. His eyes met Lena's with a nervous grin. "I think I'm good." But then she was enlisting his help to get Koa up.
How the 'expert' climber had somehow struggled to scale the wall was beyond him, but Zavien didn't hesitate to add his strength to the rope. Gripping the cord tightly in his grasp, he yelled down, "Koa! Grab on!"
