Ronin's momentum carries him forward and through the membrane of the dragon's wing, such that he's not really aware that it's falling until the pitch black smoke erupts from the blade in his hands, and it's with a powerful beat of his own wings that he brings himself back up. With the rapier held aloft and the sun at his back, he might seem like some avenging angel were it not for the somewhat bemused expression on his face.
Hearing Remi's applause, he glances up to the others and offers an almost shy smile. "I didn't expect it to work first time," he admits, laughing and sheathing the blade just in time for the Bastion to approach, not wanting to nick him with it. Nodding at Deimos's suggestion and grinning over at Sunjata, he gestures for the shoreline he can see below.
"Let's be quick, just in case it was only the welcome-wagon," he agrees. "We'll find a place close to the shore, plant the lily, and get out of here."
