In the meantime, he definitely feels as though he's done something wrong, even as he nods sadly down at the other man. "And then you put your office right across from mine," he echoes. However good Danta is at leaning into the part of poor Theocrat, though, he hasn't been lying about any of it, and so Asta continues to lavish him with the sort of attention guaranteed to continue to wind him up, the Maverick feels the heat rise to his cheeks and pointedly looks away.
"The way I see it," he says, "you'll have to do something about it, or I will. Just depends on whose hands get there first, I suppose."
