It took some time for Noah to settle after the void sea panther attack. He and Sah had spent some time cleaning up, and then he ventured into the city proper to see if anyone could identify or claim the body that had been unceremoniously ripped from the panthers stomach, but there was no luck. So he spent some time at the lighthouse in the presence of the shrine before he needed to meet Sah at their agreed time and place.
Because there was always time to help Halo.
Moving across the rainbow road, Noah tried to be slow. He tried to be present. He tried to draw in the beauty and wonder of this place, but it was hard. His mind still whirled with the threat at large, and he couldn’t take himself off the edge. Maybe some time with the once-wolf that didn’t involve combat could help that.
