flora
Snorting her laughter into the dark space between them, the queen grins, her eyes falling softly closed. "You'll have to tell me one day how you learned to be such a good baker." She hums, recalling how Jack had chosen to vault in through her window rather than use the front door and had somehow fixed the recipe she'd been working on all while helping himself to her whiskey.
"Yeah, not the way that they sing them, they aren't." The Doubletake agrees, shivering pleasurably as the snowflakes which have fallen on her skin begin to melt and then trickle their way across her body. Instead of reviving any such songs, instead Flora just thinks. What Jack will be able to pick up on she's not quite sure, but whatever it is she intends it to be relaxing. So, thinking back to her childhood, she imagines walking slowly through the Greatwood, the thick layer of moss and pine needles beneath her bare feet dampening the sounds of her movements. Golden sunlight spills down through the leaves dappling her skin as the Stonesong hums somewhere off in the distance. Should Jack opt to fall asleep at Flora's side more often he'll be treated to this vision fairly regularly, as it's one she conjures up anytime she's having trouble falling asleep.
I love you, she thinks gently just as sleep begins to weigh down her bones and the rock of the Ark quiets her mind entirely.

My house of stone, your ivy grows
And now I'm covered in you
And now I'm covered in you
