In any other circumstance, Sah would have bristled as Talyson blatantly handed out orders. But the courier had asked for help in finding a missing friend and worry made people irrational. Instead, he nods and gets into position, giving the courier's shoulder a bump with his own as he passes him, nodding at Noah, too. "We've got this." The words are quiet but firm. There's a chance that they'll find her dead, but they have to stay focused.
Flora calls out her complaints about being in the back, making him sigh. "Here." Letting his magic activate, a slight golden glow coats Flora. Sah's careful to keep it dim enough to not draw attention to her, but it'll give her extra protection in case something surprises them. At least temporarily.
Her following comment, however, has him raising a brow as the magic settles. Sah can't help the slight grin that forms. "Will do." It had dawned on him during the last fight just how young the Queen was and now he couldn't help but see her as the sharp-tongued pup that Flora undoubtedly is. He'd tested different magics against the panther, wondering if it followed the same rules as the shard or typical fauna. He'd also been worried that if they used repeating tactics, the feeling would catch on and avoid all attacks. But if it sets the young Queen at ease after a fight she nearly died in, Sah will relent to her wishes—this time.
