Eventually, they seemed to have made their way closer to a larger gathering of water; where the stream stilled and expanded to a more opulent arrangement of a cool, calm pool, amidst a collection of boulders and logs. Only there, after many checks and examinations, did the Caretaker feel comfortable and out of any banshee range. While the Spire loomed in the distance, she’d take its obsidian structure far off in the expanse, rather than a shrieking and terrifying bride.
Altering back into her residual, human state, ignoring the way her heart still hammered through her ribs and trying to varnish a wave of calm back into her fingertips, she gave a slight smile towards Zavien. “Here okay?”
