The silence is sweet and endless and golden in Jack's mind, and though Flora is holding him up just as much as he's doing the same for her, he carefully loosens his grip on the harness support to let his hand drift back to her waist. Does it mean that he loves her? The question burns in the back of his thoughts even if he has no energy for it currently, the captain shifting only when Flora does, and rest assured it isn't far. His laughter is little more than a hot breath against the crook of her neck, Jack steadying his feet just enough to peer up at her.

"You got it," he rumbles, his voice hoarse with exertion, his body feeling heavy and reluctant to comply with his demands. "For now, though, how does that sound for our next trick?" Nodding over his shoulder towards the plush bed, whilst Jack's intentions may be good, he's still not going anywhere for at least another couple of minutes. It's all he can do to straighten up and out of her arms, in fact, sweat glistening on his forehead and down his back, his expression still a little far away.

Glancing down at the stirrups and buckles still holding Flora aloft, the raise of his eyebrow is question enough for her: do you think you can stand up?
