flora
Smiling against Jack's temple, Flora's fingers sweep absently through his hair, smoothing down the whorls and ruffles that her grasping fingers had left. As he begins to pull away, Flora moans softly under her breath; had she any strength left she might have tried to tug him back against her, the sudden absence of his body feeling as if she'd suddenly lost a part of herself. Shivering and missing the warmth of him already, as Flora glances over his shoulder toward the bed, her lips twist into a lazy grin. "Have something horizontal in mind, do you?" It's sleeping and they both know it, but Flora thinks after what's just transpired, it'll feel almost as good.
Reaching for one of the grips above her head and pulling down in an effort to adjust her position, her arm trembles instantly, able to do little more than shift her a fraction. Laughing breathlessly the queen can only give her head a helpless shake as she leans back against the wall. "No, you're definitely going to need to help me." Glancing over his shoulder toward something that vaguely resembled a stool (no doubt it had a much more nuanced purpose, but whatever, it looked sturdy enough), Flora nods. "I can stand on that." No doubt if he tried to take her into his arms as she untangled herself they'd both end up on the floor, and while she was pretty sure they'd be content to pass out where they fell, the bed did look a lot more comfortable.
