Meanwhile, the group dodges, ducks, dips, dives and dodges to avoid being hit by Flora's returning daggers, and for good reason. Where the Doubletake's feathers didn't manage to hit on the way out, at least one of them snips right through a nether vine on its way back, and the other tears out of the monster and takes a chunk of it en route.
Followed up by Noah's Atomic Roar, not to mention his fancy footwork, and the creature is on the ropes. This time it doesn't keen or shriek or scream its anguish, but if anything, the deep, low groaning is almost worse, vibrating through bones and causing skin to crawl.Sah's streak of perfect accuracy ends this round, alas, his arc of air magic falling short, but that's okay. All is quiet. Still.

The roots that erupt from the jungle floor are sharper than any daggers, tearing from the earth as if the Oerwoud itself has just grown teeth. Centred on one point - on Noah - they converge, quicker than a snake in grass... and they strike.
The Forsaken's body will find itself punctured right through in numerous places - torso, shoulders, legs - leaving him skewered and suspended by the void roots, unable to move. There's no viscous pouring of liquid on them this time, at least. Noah's blood runs bright crimson, after all.
Noah is unable to move this round! (He can perform magical attacks, but nothing physical).
