Hadama shifted his hands and then stepped forward again, the sword landing close to his previous cut, though sinking deeper. He did not answer until he had freed the blade and examined its edge thoughtfully. "It was a gift," he repeated. He paused a moment before adding: "From someone I do not wish to offend."
