Any comment he might have made about he and the Doubletake making a good team was lost in dismay when Sah's magic lashed out at Noah instead of the roots. "No--!"
And then Tal had problems of his own to deal with as something vines slammed into him and knocked him flat on his back hard enough to make his head spin. For better or worse the air was knocked out of him so no one had to listen to him try and give orders anymore. He lashed out with his Dagger vengefully at the retreating nether vines with an angry wheeze and then tried to roll over on top of Noah to shield him from further jungle-induced damage.
Tal gives the jungle a retaliatory stab and then rolls onto Noah to shield him from the fallout of whatever comes next.
