Arcing up, invisible and deadly, the air magic that slices through the Oerwoud Void Guardian is enough and then some to get the job done. Vines flail overhead - dozens, hundreds of them - before all drop abruptly, hanging flaccid like the strings of some cut puppet. The creature doesn't cry out as it dies, but rather it lets out a wheezing, wet breath, and expires.
Then, yes. It does drop atop all of you, a hulking mass of flora and fauna, already rotting, already expelling spores and fumes as far as the eye can possibly see. You've done it, that is no question, but it will be some time before the Oerwoud looks like it once did. At least, blessedly, the infection will not continue to grow.
Best you leave, though, before you choke on its remnants.
