Unable to stop the laughter that spills from her lips to find herself caught in Ever's arms, Isla of course is far from complaining, leaning against his chest and letting her arms loop casually around his shoulders. "I think you might have," she admits, "but I appreciate hearing it every single time." Rising up on her toes, she smooches a kiss against his cheek and soaks in the warmth of his body even with the fire before them; suitable, she thinks, given the discussions around hypothermia.
"I have heard the same," she agrees. "Granted, if I get too cold I turn to stone, but if that ever happens I will let you know - hopefully - whether it is peaceful." Or she supposes she can just ask an Ancient to whom such a thing has happened, but science and all that.
