"Well, we can sit silently together." The Bastion chuckles, raising his now-empty teacup in a toast to the utter absurdity of it all. It would ease Remi's mind to know that Deimos would be in attendance when the proposal inevitably happened, though. Even if Flora had him playing bartender, he was sure he could convince the other man to lurk near the bar for the majority of the evening.
"Mended? Oh Gods no. They haven't spoken in years." Sighing, Remi glances at the Flood, silently debating just how much of his and Ronin's baggage to open before the Sword. "Recently Ronin and I discussed the possibility that he perhaps laid a good amount of his upset on Hotaru as a way of trying not to be angry at me." For years it had worked, remarkably well, especially with Hotaru mostly out of their lives. The older Flora grew, though, and with things tentatively rekindled between Knight and Flood, the need to actually address the underlying issue couldn't be ignored. "It went as well as you might expect, and though I think Ronin knows that Hotaru isn't to blame, it....it isn't so easy to let it go."
