The unmistakable acceptance had him wanting to fist pump the air, certain there was a crowd cheering in victory somewhere, but Zavien restricted himself to a silent grin that split across his face even wider. He had a DATE. With LENA. Maybe Koa hadn't been so wrong. Now, he just had to make his friend proud and not blow it. The pressure was almost enough to bring the nerves rushing back, but instead, a flow of anxious thoughts swam under the sunshine haze of his mood.

Zavien gave a smile as the nerves started to catch up with him a little more, the gravity of the situation dawning on him. He straightened from the tree, trying to meet Lena's eyes around the sketch. "Should we start heading out? Before the companions attract the banshee with the cry of its people?" Mittens' shrieks still echoed, combined with Sol's excited chirps, making it a strangely haunting sound in the large space. There was also the ulterior motive of dinner with a pretty woman.
