Instantly glancing up and hooking a leg around his barstool so he might lean back a fraction to see her, the Maverick's puzzled expression melts almost instantly into something dizzyingly warm, and the hand not holding his drink sneaks across to rest atop Asta's knee. "I know," he tells her softly. "I won't."

"Do you reckon we can declare a winner at this point? Or do we need to like... stand on one leg until there's only one person left?" Because Danta will be honest - even with his recent non-alcoholic cocktail, he doesn't really like his chances.
