His dark gaze lingers on her as she scouts out the Maverick. “Mm, I think you’re right.” There’s the adoring look glanced back toward Danta as he returns with their drinks, settling and looking quite confused until the realization hits and the butcher has the combination of Danta’s hand on his knee and Charlie’s feet using his tail as the footrest it was intended to be. “I am too.” He hums, flashing an affectionate smile over to Danta as his free hand drops to cover Danta’s with a gentle squeeze.

At the mention of a winner though, the butcher’s laugh barks through him as he squints between the two of them, letting the Whitebrim drawl come in full force. “Oh, I’m absolutely fucked. Charlie wins.” He announces, looking down at Charlie with a wink.
