With his shoulders hunched and his chin tucked a touch childishly against his chest, Remi makes his way toward the Northaven. Whether or not Mateo has decided to stay or to go he's left to the botanist, and should he have abandoned the beach for somewhere more cheerful, Remi is quite happy to let the hels eat the remainder of the food, such is his ability to care about anything past fitting himself into his husband's arms. Feeling like a kicked puppy even though that certainly wasn't the appropriate analogy given his behaviour, nevertheless the Bastion longed for his husband to wrap his arms around him tightly and say that everything was going to be okay.
"Ro—oh." Nearly knocking into the Knight, the tension in their bond having become so thick as to be a touch confusing to navigate, Remi stumbles back a step and offers his husband a weary smile. "Flora and Jack left." He explains, swallowing thickly as his eyes raise a touch guiltily. "Things...well, they got heated after you left."
