There was no question about being there for Soh. She'd stuck with him when he'd been a lot angrier and grouchier at the world, when others had turned him away or written him off. She'd believed in him, trusted him, and gave him the confidence he'd needed to keep moving forward when his own life had been at a pretty low point. The least he could do was return the favor, especially when he just plain enjoyed his friend's company.
