flora
"Okay philosopher." Flora trills, rolling her eyes at him before his gaze has her quietly clearing her throat. She's apologetic to a point, because it isn't her fault that Jack can't keep himself out of her thoughts and as much as he loves the things her imagination can do, neither of them can pick and choose where her mind will wander at any given moment.
"First of all, I took you, and second...he and Ronin lived in the Cordillera. There's basically no where more dangerous than that, and the pair of them use it now as a vacation house." Now it's Flora's turn to look mildly disgusted, if only because mention of her her parents has her wanting to do everything in her power to try and salt the wound in their minds that was she and Jack, all the more. "But fine, if you prefer I can just tell them that we only ever stay on your ship where it's nice and safe. In your bed, specifically." With a feline grin Flora tucks herself against Jack's side, and the fact that it doesn't send immediately affection roaring through her bones only goes to show how commonplace that particular gesture has become.
"You think?" Fitting her blades back into place, the queen glances over her shoulder as if she might see said fox giving them the finger. "That's pretty clever, if it's true." No doubt a fox was a better lure than a spider, but if they all worked together, no doubt they'd eat better than on their own.
