Moaning softly against Jack's kiss, not with the same passion as when his hands had been clutching her hips but instead softly and a touch musically, the Doubletake concedes the point with a small shrug. "Well...you can think of it as me being selfish then, if it's easier." She suggests, knowing just how deeply rooted Jack's skepticism was when it came to genuine acts of affection. And, it was selfish, when you really thought about it. Flora didn't want whatever strength it would take to move on if Jack died; didn't want to have to imagine a world without him in it.
Glancing toward the shoreline, the queen huffs out a laugh before kneeling down to collect the blankets she'd discarded. Offering Jack one, Flora wrapped the others around her shoulders once more before leading the captain toward the towel she'd been sitting on and the basket. Tucking her blankets beneath her as she sat down in order to compensate for the hard-packed sand, the queen unscrewed one of the thermos lids before adding a healthy pour of whiskey and giving it a swirl. Taking a sip before hissing in a breath—clearly it was still hot—she handed it to Jack. "So? You think you'd ever want to sail through that?" Nodding toward the sea ahead of them where large icebergs lazily floated by and the water looked impossibly still and cold, Flora raises a brow.
