Relieved that her apology had been accepted and that Deimos was willing to move past her transgressions, Alys considered how things were in King's End. She'd spent the better part of several seasons there, building their home and tending her shop, and she was pleased with the progress of the region, even if she now wanted to return to traveling a bit more.
"Things are well, thank you," she said, selecting a new bit of fruit and cheese. "We built a beautiful home in Meadowreach, and I have shop there that's doing well. More people are starting to come to King's End. It's really growing! Have you heard about New Haven? It's quite nice there." She herself had only visited for the first time fairly recently, since she'd been out of King's End for a time accompanying Tal on his deliveries and establishing her tarot clientele across Caido. "My only complaint is that we don't have much protection against the Void, but I've been traveling more recently, so I'm not sure how quickly it's spreading - if it is."
