Deciding that a stronger, larger shape would probably make things easier, Thal shifted into her lyvern form, planning to fly herself out of the mud. On the way out, she would grab the debris she'd gathered and deposit it into the pile before shifting back into her Ancient form on solid ground. If everything proves successful, she might even use the convenient draconic shift to rip some old stumps from the ground.
