Talking to Rae, Mort, or Vi was rare - Alys had heard of very few granted that privilege, and she doubted that she would be one of them. She was just an Abandoned, after all, without any particular allegiance to any of the heralds, even - at least, not yet. She assumed that it would take someone more pious than she to call down one of the big gods, much less to lead a quest sanctioned by them.
She drummed her fingers on the table and sighed. "I guess I'll just keep looking for lilies," she said, having heard of the quest for flowers from Tal during their travels. She had yet to spend much time looking - they traveled a lot, rarely stopping in one place for long - but perhaps that would be the best she could do to help. In the meantime... "Has Halo fared well, all things considered?"
