Koa
Don't take this the wrong way
You knew who I was with every step that I ran to you
The work is good, but also fairly gruesome, with putrid violet ichor spilling out of rotted trees. Feeling grateful for his oil-slicked attire, Koa grimaces as she shakes a glob of purple sap off his gloves, his nose pinched in distaste. "As if plant goop wasn't gross enough already..." he mutters under his breath to nobody in particular, feeling particularly validated in his distrust of vegetation given their current circumstances. You knew who I was with every step that I ran to you
Tal's suggestion of shared channeling is met with raised eyebrows, Koa glancing around at the felled trees and pursing his lips. While he cannot imagine Safrin being happy to be summoned into such a gruesome scene, he also knows this is a bigger project than they can undertake - and far be it from him to deny a chance to see his patroness. So as Tal concludes he picks up the thread, spine straightening subconsciously, body automatically assuming soldier's attentive poise.
"Starlit lady," he intones, voice warm with affection and reverence, "Please grace us with your strength and light, and help us purify this portion of Caido to once again reflect your beauty."
