Thalassa
Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
And there are many paths to tread
Thal listened to Melita's boasting, but silently appreciated the exclusion of her own involvement. It almost made her feel that the woman might not blame her for how she'd reacted to the threat on her life (despite her own feelings on the matter). The notion was enough for her to give the demigod a meaningful look and nearly imperceptible nod of her head as she gathered the wood.
Placing another piece on the growing pile, Thal admired their work. It would burn quite well. But Melita's words had her stifling the desire to set it aflame now. She clenched her fist momentarily before stating flatly, "I'll head north." Her feet were already moving before she could hear whether or not they'd responded. She let her eyes scan as she walked, noticing any signs of lingering purple or crumbled wood that she could add to the pile.
Thalassa chooses north.

Thalassa chooses north.
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Until the stars are all alight.
