Luckily for Everest, Mateo can hold a riveting conversation with a brick wall, so his friend's tied-up tongue doesn't pose much of a problem when it comes to chit-chat between the trio.
Giving Koa a shove for his impression out of principle, the botanist is soon drawn back against his friend's side, tipping his head back to admire the stars as well. "Stars," he begins, his tone cheeky and smiling, "are also made of geometric shapes."
He doesn't object to the Spyglass though, glancing to the man whose title shares the same name and raising his eyebrows as if to ask if he's happy to join in as well.
