Reticence to admit something like love to you is hardly indictment, especially if you approached him as I suspect you might have. That doesn't mean he doesn't, he may simply be an asshole - and falling for assholes runs in the family on both sides for Flora.
The age gap alone is concerning, but Flora has wielded her Freyging as a weapon before and given the ease of dying or becoming immortal in Caido, there's few arguments we can make that she won't diminish or weasel out of. Regardless of my personal feelings (which are...impassioned), we have little ground to intervene based on the background you've shared.

I need you to tell me straight if you think he is a danger to her. You wouldn't have penned me about this on disapproval alone. Certainly not after courting Flora's ire. I need to know what you're feeling. Plainly.
Do you think this is more of a threat to her than heartbreak? One that will not naturally resolve itself if he is as deplorable as you say?
We cannot spare her from every learning moment, no matter the pain it might save her. Or the disgust we must suffer to let it happen naturally.
