You made yourself a bed

At the bottom of the blackest hole
As Alys and Koa set about their task and the dragoon offered a bright greeting, the seer blushed faintly to learn that Tal talked about her to his friends. Of course, she did the same, whenever she got the chance, but it was always nice to hear that her love for the courier was so devoutly returned. "Oh, you don't owe me anything. It was a pleasure to help Pip," she said with a smile. "If you ever need another kite, just say the word."
Unfortunately for Alys's curiosity, she knew nothing of what had or had not transpired between Soh and Koa, but she desperately wanted to find out. She wasn't going to pry, though - at least, she wasn't going to pry with Koa. Tal, later, was another story. She wasn't usually much of a gossip, and whatever he did or didn't tell her would stay with her and her alone, but she had to admit that she wanted to know more about the pair.
Alys went quiet as the two Accepted began to attempt to channel, watching with a faint air of nervousness. Even after all this time, and all her growth, she was still anxious when gods were called upon. She still expected them to smite her just for being Abandoned. But much to her - and probably all of their - surprise, the god who appeared was not Safrin, but Vi. Caught between awe and fear, Alys bowed her head respectfully. When she raised it again, Vi was gone - and so were the remains their group had been cleaning up.
Alys stepped closer to Tal instinctively. "Wow," she murmured. "I certainly wasn't expecting that." She smiled at her partner before starting on the admittedly nasty task of cleaning up their gear.
