She momentarily considered making a stealthy exit (after an accurately placed dagger) as the others started forward; however, those wishful thoughts were cast aside by the sudden appearance of a horde of floating gourds. She'd never seen them before, but Thal's first reaction was a tired sigh. Once that was over, she let the thrill of battle push through, a small grin peeking out from her stoic expression.
Sah's shift almost distracted her enough to throw confusion on her actions - had he always been able to do that? Then she was feeling the heat of flames from the massive stranger's magic, drawing her back into the fight. Using her instincts, she drew from his fire for her own magic, throwing it against the (hopefully flammable) Vampire Gourds.
