She returns his chuckle with a bright one of her own, thoughts sparkling optimistic excitement. Using her hand to secure her sunhat to her head, she dips under a particularly overgrown plant, emerging to see the dilapidated state of the Star Gate. She hums a light tune as she tilts her head, scrutinizing the structure with narrowed eyes. "I expected... more." The name 'Star Gate' made her think of twinkling pieces of gems adorning a glimmering arch, like the physical embodiment of a galaxy. This is... anything but. Dirty and dull, it shows no signs of its celestial namesake. But she supposed that was the reason for their visit.
Her hand absently brushes aside a leaf as she wonders about meeting Jack again. "Do you think he'll still be all 'serious' and 'commanding'?" She drops her voice dramatically, giggling at her own theatrics as she looks back to her brother.
