Apologies for the delay in my reply. Yours was far too reasonable-sounding and if I'm being honest, I'd been hoping for you to instantly share my outrage. The fact that you don't is exactly what I needed to hear, though it took me a few days to realize it.
In the big scheme of things, there is likely nothing Jack has done that is any worse than what I have, or Ronin has. Assholes, as you correctly point out, seem to be who we're largely drawn to (and Ronin if you're reading this, I mean you to me, not me to you).
I am worried about her heart being broken, but I take it that isn't a reason to plot Jack's demise. On that we might have to agree to disagree, but when it comes to Flora's safety? I think he views her as something to protect insofar as maintaining his own interests, so I don't think he'd let harm directly befall her or hurt her himself, but I do think the person she'll become at his side is not one we'll recognize in the long run.
Maybe you and Sunjata could meet them together? See if your instincts are better than mine? (Undoubtedly they are, who am I kidding.)
