Eternum grunted when his attack failed. He thought he could take her by surprise, but he supposed she was on guard just because he was larger than her, and a male. He gritted his teeth as his swing went wild. He lost control of his footing and his opponent seemed to be good at taking advantage of that. She swept him right off his feet and he went down with a thud. He didn’t spend long on the ground, however. He held out his hands and sent some sparkles towards her. Ultimately harmless, but it might serve as a good distraction. He then tried to lunge at her.
