Tal might have taunted the sharp-toothed predator further - wisdom being one of his dump stats - but he was already moving to get the big fungus between them. He felt more than saw Thal miss, and it brought a grin to his face, doing more than anything else to soothe the remaining sting of getting shocked by his own armor.
